Mel has been working with my 3 year old daughter for a few months and has helped her so much with her social skills, confidence and emotional regulation. Mel is the literal embodiment of Mary Poppins for autistic children! She had a spell over my son the moment he met her. He never takes to anyone, but when he saw her for the first time he jumped off the couch, hugged her and started touching her face and giggling like he had met his soul mate. It brought tears to my eyes to see him show such obvious signs of love for someone he only just met. She is working wonders with him, is so talented at what she does and I just can’t recommend Gentle Sensory more!

Excellent evening run by the very knowledgeable Maria. I learnt so much and have been implementing some strategies already today. I became curious about my child's presentation and noted when he was entering the yellow zone and was able to redirect him and avoid entering the red zone. Thank you much.

My grandson aged 3 has been seeing Mel on a weekly basis for a couple of months now. He is autistic, and does not take to strangers, ever. Since being with Mel he has been able to spend a couple of hrs at daycare with the educators once a week. He has learned to trust, granted the right people. Albeit for a short while. He is at this stage “pre” verbal. His vocabulary is increasing slowly. I cannot praise Gentle Sensory enough for their caring and understanding ways. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for help to contact them.
