Pauline McDonald
Child & Family Counsellor

Background

Pauline is a compassionate and dedicated Child and Family Therapist based in Gisborne, where she lives with her husband and two sons. She is also a proud mother to two daughters who live interstate and a grandmother to two adorable granddaughters. Pauline’s passion for therapy stems from her personal experiences with her own four children, each facing their own mental health challenges, including one child who is autistic and has an intellectual disability. This firsthand experience has greatly influenced her approach to therapy. Before joining the team at Gentle Sensory, Pauline worked as a school counsellor at Kyneton Primary School and at Sunbury and Macedon Ranges Specialist School, where she gained valuable experience in supporting children and families.
